The apprenticeship focuses on transport logistics and customer service, with training in office administration as needed. JT Few Plant Hire is dedicated to supporting the professional growth of an apprentice, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of logistics and customer service.
Tasks & Training Details
The apprenticeship will include practical tasks and training within the customer service sector, all completed during working hours. Key duties include:
- Answering phone calls in the transportation department
- Booking transportation jobs on the Aggsmart booking system
- Handling customer queries promptly and ensuring all questions are resolved
- Updating the Health and Safety workplace spreadsheet
- Assisting the Director and Sales and Logistics Manager with various tasks as needed
- Providing additional support in the main office and accounts office as required
This role offers valuable hands-on experience across different areas, with a clear emphasis on customer service, logistics, and office administration. The skills learned will be applicable in many office and logistics environments.
